New CS2 Player for G2 Esports
The esports club M80 has announced the departure of malbsMd from their CS2 roster. The announcement was made on the club's social media. According to insiders, the Guatemalan player had previously attracted the interest of G2 Esports and he may become the new CS2 player for them.
The potential transfer of malbsMd to the European club was reported by several insiders on June 13. Shortly thereafter, G2 Esports' starting lineup saw the departure of nexa. While neither side has commented on the speculated transfer, the farewell video from M80 representatives suggests that malbsMd has already decided on his new team.
MalbsMd has been with M80 since July 2023. During his tenure, the team won the ESL Challenger League Season 46 for North America and qualified for ESL Pro League Season 19, where they placed 17-20th, and also competed at IEM Katowice 2024.
